All we need to get on the 2024 ballot is 135,000 signatures from Utah voters (8% of the number of active voters in the state) plus that same 8% threshold in 26 of the 29 state senate districts. (Details here.) That’s going to take a lot of work but it’s not impossible, especially since those 29 state senate districts include:

  • 2 districts near Logan / Utah State (#1 and #2);
  • 3 districts near Ogden / Weber State (#3-5);
  • 15 districts near SLC (#6-20);
  • 6 districts near Provo / BYU and Orem / UVU (#21-26); and
  • 3 districts near St George / Utah Tech (#27-29).
