In the weeks ahead we’ll be focusing on the four P’s of our clean-air-and-climate campaign: the policy measure we’re going to put on the ballot; the plan to gather the signatures and support we need; the purchasing power required for printing petition papers and purchasing pens, placards, and posterboards; and the people making it all happen!

Maybe that’s five P’s?? In any case, here’s even more (!):

Please join us on Zoom (link available via email) from 7-7:40pm MT every other Wednesday night: W March 16, W March 30, etc. All are welcome! We’ll talk about policy development and outreach efforts as we prepare to qualify for the Nov 2024 ballot by collecting signatures from about Feb 27 – Nov 27, 2023. (Mark your calendars, and follow the previous link if you’re new to the campaign and want to get caught up!)

Postscript: Help Becky Edwards qualify for the ballot: Climate and air quality champion Becky Edwards, who served in the state House from 2008-2018, is challenging Mike Lee for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. She’s turned in her first batch of signatures but needs more (because some will be invalid or illegible) to hit the 28,000 signatures she needs by the end of March to qualify for the primary ballot, so this is an opportunity for us to help a strong candidate… and get signature-gathering practice! To join Becky’s campaign sign up here.
